Bangladesh Funeral Services
(BFS)

In Islam, the funeral process is the duty and responsibility of the Muslim community.

The last Islamic act performed for a Muslim is the burial of the dead. Verily, everyone of us belong to the All Mighty Allah and to Allah we shall return.

"Every soul will taste death. And you will only receive your full reward on the Day of Judgment. Whoever is spared from the Fire and is admitted into Paradise will ˹indeed˺ triumph, whereas the life of this world is no more than the delusion of enjoyment." (Quran  3:185)

"He is the One Who created death and life in order to test which of you is best in deeds. And He is the Almighty, All-Forgiving." (Quran 67:2)

It is an obligatory act for members of the community to perform this duty.  It is an obligation which if performed by 1 member of the community, then the entire community absolved from the responsibility and if not then the entire community is accountable to Allah for this omission.

Bangladesh Funeral Services will provide Funeral services to any Canadian Muslim who registers with it from anywhere in Canada.

In future, funeral services for other religious groups can be facilitated by BFS. But services for each religious groups will be completely separate, BFS will just help in the facilitation and management.
